Job Description

Join our team and be a key contributor in the design and manufacture of high accuracy, isolated, robust, and reliable data acquisition and control products for modern automation of global industrial applications. We are a technology company with a 40-year history focused on developing and producing superior industrial control solutions. Responsibilities

  • Production test hardware design and development inclusive of circuit design, DUT interface, test head enclosure, wire harnessing, and safety mechanisms
  • Production test software design inclusive of DUT digital interface, instrument interface, test databases, and data logging
  • Design efforts primarily involve solutions for new product lines
  • Support existing test hardware and software solutions used in manufacture of all Dataforth products
  • Work with minimal oversight given requirements
  • Manage technical aspects, schedules, and cost for assigned projects

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically with product test hardware and software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Strong circuit and coding capabilities along with good communication skills
  • Mechanical design skills are a plus
  • Fluency with standard and high-performance instruments and test equipment

  • Analog circuit design involving op-amps, filters, power supplies, isolation
  • Mixed signal circuit design using high performance A/D and D/A converters
  • Product design including packaging, interconnect, system considerations
  • Design for EMC compliance, hazardous location operation, industrial robustness
  • Prototype characterization
  • Work with minimal oversight on assigned tasks and projects
  • Support manufacture and field usage of designed products

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically within analog, mixed signal, and power circuits
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in circuits preferred
  • Strong electrical and analysis capabilities along with good communication skills
  • Fluency with standard and high-performance instruments and test equipment

Job Description

Dataforth Corporation is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with excellent sales skills to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers & sales channel partners by closely interacting with them to identify and solve customer problems enabling Dataforth to win every customer project
  • Identify and report industry and customer trends, opportunities for improving Dataforth product performance and product offering in order to add value to customers
  • Develop a deep understanding of the signal conditioning and data acquisition market
  • Analyze and understand key applications in various industries such as but not limited to automotive, aerospace, industrial, consumer, battery, test & measurement, etc.
  • Support and train sales channel partners on new & existing products
  • Relentlessly drive new design wins for new and existing products
  • Bring quick solutions to customer problems by interfacing across different functional groups such as application support, engineering, production, test, and marketing and sales
  • Create technical literature as required to positively influence customer behavior
  • Develop an annual financial plan and review progress towards plan
  • Assist with generating the revenue plan for the organization
  • Expected domestic travel: 25-40%

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Technical knowledge of electronics and ability to relate fundamental electronics to customer applications and vice versa
  • Understanding of sensors, signal conditioning, and data acquisition applications
  • Experience selling analog electronic components and driving design win
  • Strong customer facing skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of sensors, signal conditioning, and data acquisition systems
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions worldwide
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Experience in translating customer requirements into new product ideas
  • Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills
